Museum Program Specialist, GS-0301-11 (Office of Museum Services) Open to all Qualified Candidates
The incumbent serves as a Museum Program Specialist in
the Office of Museum Services. The incumbent works on all phases of the
receipt, consideration, and decision-making relating to museum grant applications,
and will be expected to employ skills in the analytical and judgmental aspects
of program specialist work to carry out processing activities of museum grant
applications to be awarded by the Institute. Performs one or more significant
aspects of grants management activities, including report monitoring and review
and grant closeout. Assumes significant responsibility for managing the IMLS
grant management database, including training and monitoring work of other staff
such as student trainee assistants and contract support staff.
