Connecting to Collections Webinars
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), in partnership with Heritage Preservation and the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH), presented a webinar series based on the national initiative Connecting to Collections: A Call to Action.
These six webinars were free of charge to staff of museums, libraries, and archives who seek to enhance collections care at their institutions. The series had a dual focus: four webinars helped participants learn how to conduct outreach to the media, the public, and funders on behalf of collections, and two webinars helped them derive maximum benefit from the Connecting to Collections Bookshelf. The series will be of particular interest to staff members of small to mid-sized institutions.
The webinars were archived and are available free of charge at the links below.
