Santa Clara County Library District

The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) in partnership with Community Tech Network (CTN) will create Library Connect: Digital Coaching on Demand in response to COVID-19 and the community’s heightened need for digital access and immediate, on-site digital literacy training. Library Connect is designed for adults with basic digital literacy skills who need assistance and coaching to be able to navigate online services successfully. Library staff will connect patrons online with an assigned coach who will teach the skills applicable to the current, identified challenge using screen share software and audio guidance. For the initial grant year of Library Connect, the program will be offered in English, Mandarin, and Spanish with additional languages planned for subsequent years.
