Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians

The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians will utilize funds to purchase a dedicated server and three additional hard drives for its Archives and Records Department.  These purchases will allow the tribe to increase their electronic storage capabilities, and will provide them with the ability to produce a minimum of thirty-six virtual exhibits.  Displaying their objects via the Tribe's website will make the collections more accessible to community members as well as the general public.  These virtual museum exhibits will be the primary responsibility of a part time technician who will be hired using grant funds.  Finally, the Director of the Archives and Records Department and the part time technician will go to the annual IMLS WebWise conference in Washington, DC to increase their knowledge of web-based museum services.
