IMLS at the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting in Atlanta

Washington, DC—IMLS Deputy Director for Museum Services Claudia French and other agency representatives will participate in the American Alliance of Museums’ Annual Meeting and Museum Expo in Atlanta, GA, April 26-29, 2015.

Join IMLS program staff for a mock application review panel on Tuesday, April 28, from 1:45 to 3 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in room B405. Get an inside look at the peer review process by participating in a fast-paced mock application review panel. Attendees will gain a greater appreciation for what reviewers look for and share insights for preparing their own applications to these competitive programs.

Alliance President Ford W. Bell will moderate a Q&A with Federal Leaders session on Monday, April 27, from 1:45 to 3 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in room B315. Learn about federal grant opportunities, museum partnerships, and other federal initiatives such as Blue Star Museums (NEA), Let’s Move Museums and Gardens (IMLS), the U.S. Department of the Interior Museum Program, the National NAGPRA Program, the National Marine Sanctuaries Program (NOAA), and more.
