Museum Grants for African American History and Culture

Deadline: November 15, 2019*
Application: The FY 2020 Notice of Funding Opportunity is not yet available. The FY 2019 Notice of Funding Opportunity (PDF 403KB) is available for reference.
Grant Amount: $5,000–$250,000
Grant Period: Up to three years
Cost Share Requirement: You must provide funds from non-federal sources in an amount that is equal to or greater than the amount of the request. No cost sharing is required for applications requesting amounts from $5,000–$50,000.

Program Overview:
Museum Grants for African American History and Culture support activities that build the capacity of African American museums and support the growth and development of museum professionals at African American museums.
