The New York Institute of Technology, in partnership with the Albany Institute of History and Art, will develop a model for technology-based partnerships between museum educators and classroom teachers. A four-day professional development workshop will include activities that provide museum resources and educational tools for accessibility beyond geographic boundaries and will launch a collaborative process among 12 teachers and 12 museum educators from across the nation. Monthly virtual meetings will focus on the development, testing, and implementation of model lessons that integrate new technologies into their teaching practice. A project assessment will be conducted with published findings that will be shared with the field.
