By Kevin O'Connell, koconnell@imls.gov Dave Isay, the founder of StoryCorps made a keynote presentation at the preconference of WebWise 2012, which is investigating how libraries and museums help scholars, students, educators, and the general public understand history and the humanities. Since 2003, StoryCorps has collected and archived more than 40,000 interviews from more than 70,000 participants. I had the opportunity to sit down with Mr. Isay before he made his presentation yesterday. Oddly, it didn’t occur to me until just before I hit record that the person I was about to interview had probably witnessed more interviews than anyone in the world. But he quickly put me at ease and all went well. Here’s a clip of our talk that we just posted on the IMLS YouTube channel.
