City of Cordova - Cordova Public Library

The Cordova Public Library in Cordova, Alaska, will significantly expand its digital services for patrons in this geographically isolated rural community. The library will hire a digital services librarian to help community members navigate the library’s online offerings. The library also will conduct workshops on basic digital literacy and computer skills, which are becoming increasingly important as the country emerges from the pandemic. The library will organize services to help community members set up tablets and laptops; workshops to help elderly patrons access and complete social security and Medicaid forms online; and homework hours to support student learning.
