North Carolina Arboretum Society

The North Carolina Arboretum Society in Asheville will implement a new software system to improve the online experience for members, students, and visitors. It plans to install a user-friendly system to enhance customers’ experiences with scheduling and transactions and prioritize flexibility in the event of cancellations and refunds, which have been exacerbated by the pandemic. The arboretum also will hire a project manager to oversee installation and operation of the system. Online transactions have become increasingly important during the pandemic and will continue to help the arboretum connect with the community. As restrictions subside, there is increasing demand to visit the arboretum, and this project will help facilitate that positive community experience with nature.
