Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum will implement a project to rebuild the museum’s capacity to deliver culturally-relevant educational experiences for children and adults in Santa Fe and northern New Mexico. Project activities include hiring a full-time Community Educator, relaunching the 4th grade visit program, deepening the arts education partnership with Milagro Middle School, launching a Teacher Advisory Group, implementing community-based bilingual (Spanish and English) programs, reengaging a library partnership program to utilize neighborhood libraries as venues for learning programs, and planning and developing a mobile art truck that will bring educational resources and enrichment opportunities out into the community. Access to art and creative self-expression will help individuals find meaning, purpose, and joy while helping to build a more connected and supportive community as it rebuilds after the COVID-19 pandemic.
