Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library will develop and implement educational programs and resources that focus on history and civic engagement for local nonprofit service providers, teachers, and the general public. Project activities include developing a digital exhibit focused on historical aspects of local urban renewal as a study in civic engagement. The museum will also create and implement programming on financial literacy and food insecurity. These programs will provide a historical perspective while establishing partnerships with nonprofits that are fighting against poverty today. The museum will design the programs to address the community identified concern regarding ensuring students remain engaged in learning by providing educational content that fosters lifelong learning and incorporates diverse perspectives as the community recovers from the disruption to education caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
