Miami Children's Museum

Miami Children’s Museum will train staff from other libraries and museums to create high-quality, meaningful videos for children ages 8 and under to serve audiences who will continue to seek resources and programs online, a need established during the COVID-19 pandemic. Museum staff will implement the project as a four-part workshop that will teach other library and museum participants how the marketing and museum experiences teams at Miami Children’s Museum produced nearly 200 videos that garnered 100,000 views. Participants will hear firsthand experiences, including how the museum pivoted to online programming within a week of the COVID-19 closure. Participants also will learn how to plan their own online program strategies.
