Quapaw Nation

Log Number: ARPNA-250532-OMLS-22

The Quapaw Tribal Library in Oklahoma will use lessons learned around the consequences of forced isolation during the pandemic and the implications of the digital divide to expand programs and services to reach more Tribal members and the community at large. The library will implement a series of traditional Native American craft courses to foster lifelong learning, promote the rich heritage of the Quapaw, and ensure that traditional arts and crafts of Native Americans are not lost. A series of courses also will provide area youth with effective STEAM education through high-quality, rigorous, and authentic learning experiences. All courses will be videotaped and available online for those who cannot attend in person.
