Crocker Art Museum

The Crocker Art Museum will implement enhanced art and wellness programming for vulnerable populations, designed to combat the challenges of loneliness and social isolation stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The museum will activate a network of community partners to reach people with disabilities, the elderly, youth, and those experiencing homelessness. The “Crocker Together” project will use art as a strategy for increased socialization by offering free, specialized art and wellness program sessions. The museum will design and implement digital engagement strategies and features to increase meaningful engagement with its programs and collections and expand the geographic region of programming to encourage increased participation. An ongoing evaluation process will identify improvements and the museum will share program results with other artistic and cultural institutions that wish to implement similar programs.
