Senator John Heinz History Center

The Senator John Heinz History Center will use funds to conserve the Adam Saam discharge paper from the 60th Royal American Regiment of Foot, which is believed to be the only surviving example of the elaborate preprinted form of discharge paper from the King's Royal Rifle Corps. The discharge paper will be a significant contribution to an exhibit celebrating the 250th anniversary involving the Royal Americans in Western Pennsylvania. In addition, the document and the conservation process will be featured in both the history center's newsletter, and in an article which will appear in the quarterly journal, Western Pennsylvania History.
