In this three-year demonstration project, Kent State University will convert its Standardized Assessment of Information Literacy Skills (SAILS) instrument for measuring the impact of information literacy on student learning to a Computer Adaptive Test format. Researchers will test the tool with other institutions and create a "results" database that will allow for internal and external benchmarking of information literacy skills.
