The project will create a digital archive of exemplary multimedia materials and interactive learning modules from the resources of Maine's museums, libraries, historical societies, and public broadcasting in the areas of Maine history and science. The resources developed will be used in Maine public schools. The project will also offer professional development training and materials to teachers to help them integrate digital resources into their classrooms. The project will demonstrate how broadband technology can be used to develop interactive learning experiences with digital video, audio, image, and text documents, and will be a creative focus to change the learning environment.
