Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenberg County

To encourage early learning, the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County will partner with the children's Museum of Wilmington and other municipal agencies and programs to create the “Read to me, Charlotte” program. This program will be tested and evaluated for its ability to increase the number of children reading at a grade-appropriate level. The program will be part of a larger community initiative that promotes childhood success through a combination of programs focused on families, health, early care, schools, and community.
