The Virgin Islands Public Library System (VIPLS) operates the public libraries on all three islands. The grant funds will allow VIPLS to train staff in areas in responding to needs that became apparent after Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Fall 2017. This includes the Cybrarian subscription service for management of computer labs, as well as bookmobile hotspot devices. Training will be provided through in person workshops to strengthen library program expertise.
