The Republic of Palau will support professional development for library staff through travel to professional conferences augmented and sharing knowledge through a train-the-trainer model. To help library staff learn more about conservation and disaster preparedness, selected librarians will attend Pacific Islands Association of Libraries, Archives, and Museums (PIALA) conference, and then train their peers during a week-long workshop. To maintain important library infrastructure, grant funds will also support a license for three sites connected to the Palau Union Catalog (PUC).
