Museo de Arte de Ponce

Puerto Rico’s Museo de Arte de Ponce (MAP) will use its grant to acquire the collections management software needed to effectively manage its permanent collection of European, Latin American, and Puerto Rican art. The technological enhancements will provide access to data that is currently unavailable. The curatorial staff, through this new system, will be able to provide visitors, researchers, volunteers, guides and other staff members with more complete information about the permanent collection than has previously been possible. In addition, the incorporation of a dedicated, high-performance, one terabyte server will improve MAP’s virtual capacity to house, conserve, and allow broader access to collection items.
