The American Museum of Magic (AMM) will engage its existing and potential communities in outcome-based evaluation to gain a clearer understanding of its audiences. In the second year of the project, the museum will plan and pilot a variety of exhibitions, interpretive tools, programs, publications, online resources, and social networking platforms that will be engaging to visitors, and support a sustainable business model. The project will help the museum to better understand its various audiences and their potential interest in the history of magic entertainment, and determine what products it should offer these audiences that will be engaging and help the museum to become self-supporting.
