Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses

Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses will create a virtual, panoramic 360° tour of Gallier Historic House, designed to increase the ways patrons can engage with the museum. A team of 11 scholars from around the country will provide direction, research, and evaluation on the points of interest to feature in the virtual experience. The virtual tour will focus on lesser told stories related to the enslaved people and free people of color who helped build the house or were inhabitants of the property. In addition to providing an alternative means of interacting with the space, the digital replica will provide a record should the home incur damage from future storms or other natural disasters.
