BRIC Arts Media Brooklyn

BRIC Arts Media Brooklyn will implement its Creative Futures initiative, serving Pre-K through 12th grade students through 24 artist residencies in up to 12 of the most potential-rich, yet under-resourced, public schools in Brooklyn. The museum’s teaching artists will deliver arts and media programming in Central Brooklyn public schools where there are no art teachers on staff, the digital divide is especially pronounced, and the COVID-19 pandemic has had a disproportionate impact on student learning and wellbeing. Students also will have the opportunity to participate in field trips to visit the BRIC House Gallery and in family programs with artist-led, hands-on art-making activities, gaming and technology exploration, and live performances.
