Museo de Arte de Ponce

The Museo de Arte de Ponce will upgrade its existing collections management system to improve data management and content in order to broaden public access to the collection. The museum will purchase a digital platform that will be linked with the collection database and will improve the quality of object photographs. A photographer will work with the museum's art handler and assistant registrar to coordinate project activities, which include data revision and cleanup and uploading images to the web. By the end of the project, the paper collection will be available and accessible to all of the museum's constituents and a collection previously enclosed in storage and inaccessible to the public will be the first to be shared on the internet.
