Log Number: MH-253205-OMS-23

The Jim Crow Museum of Racist Imagery at Ferris State University will design and install a new permanent exhibit on its Big Rapids, Michigan campus to create more accessible, engaging, and robust experiences for students, educators, researchers, and the public. The museum will work with an exhibit consultant to design and fabricate a new exhibit that will include new stories focused on Jim Crow and Civil Rights in Michigan and building a more just society. The exhibit will expand the museum's capacity to serve a broader and more diverse audience through expanded physical space and in-person programming. The new exhibition will enable the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Imagery to enhance its role as a forum for difficult discussions as groups and individuals seek to understand the history of race and racism in America.
