History Museum, Springfield, MO

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The History Museum for Springfield will provide on-site educational history programs to all fourth graders in Springfield Public Schools and Greene County. This on-site program will stimulate and reinforce the students' knowledge of their own unique local history and government through exhibits, interpreters, video, hands-on reproduction items, and activities. The Program's curriculum will strengthen the students learning in the areas that correlate with the state's assessment test goals.
