Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma

This project will increase programming, services, and activities that support the cultural and educational mission of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma's museum and the Two Stars Tribal Youth Program, a program serving approximately 250 at-risk youth annually. The tribe will purchase educational resources and schedule regular educational demonstrations and performances, including workshops, classes, and presentations by tribal elders, to enrich Two Stars Tribal Youth Program activities. A part-time staff member will be hired to facilitate and present cultural and historical programming, as well as arrange other activities for program participants.
