Comanche Indian Tribe

The Comanche Nation of Oklahoma will host a series of training workshops to promote the development of Native American museum workers, primarily from the southwest Oklahoma region. Topics for sessions include museum management and operations, collections and archives development, museum education and interpretation, exhibition development, museum funding operations, and board Development. The goals of this project are to improve the understanding, skills, and experiences of Native American cultural/museum professionals and to increase the networking capabilities of southwestern Oklahoma tribal museums, with the intention of nurturing collaborative projects.
