Yurok Tribe

The Yurok Tribe will design and fabricate an outdoor interpretive exhibit for the recently opened Yurok Village Discovery Park. Outdoor interpretive panels will explore the tribe's history, relationship with local ecology, built structures, and daily village life. Four freestanding audio stations will explain how language, songs, stories, and ceremonies form the center of Yurok cultural heritage. All panel text will incorporate Yurok traditional and tribal history, and will be presented from both historic and contemporary perspectives. The exhibIt's goal is to share Yurok culture, history, and place from the tribal perspective with visitors to the Park.
