Yurok Tribe

The Yurok Tribe of California will develop conceptual plans for cultural exhibits that will be featured in the Yurok Cultural Center, which is currently being developed. The tribe will contract a design firm to work together on the general design features of the exhibits and will detail the layout of exhibit themes for the Cultural Center’s Heritage House. The exhibits will be designed in consultation with the tribal council, as its members are an essential component in the next step to develop plans and specifications for the Cultural Center’s buildings. All plans will be approved by the Cultural Collections staff and the Yurok Tribal Council.
