Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan will complete a comprehensive disaster and emergency preparedness plan for the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways. Reports from formal Museum Assessment Program and Conservation Assessment Program surveys conducted over the past few years will inform the process. In addition to writing and implementing the plans, the project will also address the safety of the textile collection with the purchase of a specialty storage unit for textile preservation.
