Gun Lake Tribe

The Gun Lake Tribal Library will increase accessibility of its resources in two ways: 1) by establishing a WiFi hotspot check-out program; and 2) offering digital library services through a partnership with the Southwest Michigan Library Cooperative. A home library program will provide additional access to cultural information and learning opportunities for community members. They are also refurbishing the children’s reading area of the library’s learning center to provide a dedicated space for early childhood literacy programming. To enhance services and better meet community needs, the librarian will participate in professional development, including the American Library Association midwinter conference.
