Forest County Potawatomi Community

The Forest County Potawatomi Cultural Center, Library, and Museum in Crandon, Wisconsin, will expand its collection of books, DVDs, and CDs pertaining to the history, culture, and other fields within the realm of American Indian and Native American Studies. With the additional resources, the library hopes to stimulate learning by community members about their history and culture. The library also is organizing a series of activities designed to re-engage the community after the pandemic, including a winter solstice event with traditional Potawatomi stories that will be recorded for later viewing.
