Texas Woman's University (Texas Woman's University SLIS)

The Texas Woman's University School of Library and Information Studies will collaborate with the Dallas Independent School District and the Universities Center at Dallas, combining their efforts and expertise to improve the accessibility and quality of library services for a diverse student population in the Dallas Independent School District. The project will extend the education of newly certified librarians through completion of their professional degrees. During this program, 45 students will complete the alternative district-based school librarian certification program and will go on to complete all requirements for the Texas Woman's University master's in library science degree.
