Peabody & Essex Museum

The Phillips Library of the Peabody Essex Museum will host two symposia for approximately 75 professional librarians working in museums, their museum counterpart practitioners, and pre-professional students to explore the special issues of libraries in museums. Each symposium will include keynote presentations and six sessions co-led by a professional librarian and a museum practitioner who will each present a paper on the topic, to be followed by in-depth peer discussion and recommendations for action. Sessions will be videotaped and a publication will be released online for universal dissemination.
