The University of Colorado Boulder Library will partner with the Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA) and the Great Plains Network (GPN) to develop an online resource called DataQ, which will function as a collaborative knowledgebase of research data questions and answers curated by the library community. The online platform developed as a result of this grant will allow librarians to share approaches for assisting patrons with their research data, as well as to identify practical tools and resources for helping researchers. As libraries are increasingly looked to as points of support for management of research data, this tool will provide a venue for librarians to seek guidance in these types of questions.
