Mayville State University

Mayville State University will enhance accessibility to and usage of STEM kits by rural area teachers and make it easier for these teachers to incorporate the kits into their curriculum planning. The importance of STEM education and how libraries can support STEM is a current focus of current library literature. However, there is a lack of research and other evidence on cataloging and circulation of educational kits using a process that supports educator schedules, educator collaboration, and, specifically, rural educators. This project develops an innovative model for curriculum kit access, presentation, management, preservation, and sharing across rural communities.
