Grant Amount: $10,000-$50,000
Grant Period: One year.
Cost Share Requirement: Museum Entities and Library Entities must provide funds from non-federal sources in an amount that is equal to or greater than the amount of your IMLS request. No cost share is required for Federally Recognized Tribes or for Nonprofit Organizations that Primarily Serve and Represent Native Hawaiians.

All grant programs are subject to the availability of funds and IMLS discretion.

Program Overview:
The IMLS American Rescue Plan grants program supported museum and library services in addressing community needs created or exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and in assisting with recovery. Projects could continue, enhance, or expand existing programs and services, or launch new ones to address emergent needs and unexpected hardships.
