William T. Harris serves as President & CEO of Space Center Houston, where he has overseen the strategic direction of this science and space exploration learning center since April 2016. In 2019, he was named CEO of the Year by the Houston Business Journal. Harris has more than 39 years in nonprofit leadership including senior positions at museums and universities. He serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of the Association of Science and Technology Centers, on the Board of Directors for the QueensCare Charitable Foundation, as Board Vice President of the Association of Science Museum Directors, and on the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Partnership.
