EcoExploratorio: Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico

EcoExploratorio: Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico will implement a professional development program for STEM museum staff across Puerto Rico to build professional skills using artificial intelligence (AI). Working in collaboration with Project Management and Transformational Leadership (PMTL) Institute and the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez, the participants will complete a certification program, conduct an organizational AI readiness assessment, and participate in training to gain the skills needed to maintain ethical practices and public trust while integrating emerging technologies. The program will strengthen the professional competencies of museum staff in AI governance as well as project management. EcoExploratorio will disseminate project results through conference presentations, webinars, peer exchanges, and the open-access professional development toolkit.
