City of El Paso (El Paso Museum of History)

The El Paso Museum of History will redesign, fabricate, and install an enhanced version of its permanent exhibition that will introduce new immersive components and expand the exhibit’s footprint. By enhancing the exhibit with state-of-the-art technologies, visitors will experience an immersive exhibit with advanced filming techniques, specialized displays and projection technologies, and next-generation natural language processing to create an interactive exhibit that enables participants to speak to historical figures from the El Paso/Juarez border region. In addition to the redesigned exhibit, this project will produce an exhibition book that will further explore and document the content of the museum’s permanent exhibit, making the stories and historical insights available to a broader audience. The exhibition book and digital content will be accessible through onsite visits, virtual platforms, and partnerships with local schools, ensuring long-term educational value for the community.
