Log Number: ALHC-260632-OMS-26

The National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC) will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the NALAC Leadership Institute that has been serving the field for the past 25 years. Project activities include hiring an expert consultant to conduct a multi-method field engagement process to reach a broad cross-section of stakeholders, gather field-informed guidance to address curriculum content, program structure, recruitment strategies, and participant support mechanisms that better serve fellows. Data from all engagement activities will be synthesized into a set of actionable recommendations including updated curriculum content, adjustments to program delivery methods, expanded support mechanisms including the development of a long-term, impact measurement framework to track the career trajectories of fellows. These improvements will help ensure that future leaders are equipped to guide institutions responsibly and sustainably, fostering public trust and broad community engagement. The project will result in a stronger leadership pipeline for the museums, cultural organizations, and preservation institutions that steward American Latino history and culture.
