History Museum at the Castle

Log Number: AM-00-18-0004-18

Tucked away in the communities along the Fox River of Northeast Wisconsin is a small museum affectionately known as the History Museum at the Castle. By placing historic lessons in a modern day context, the museum inspires visitors to discover and appreciate Fox Cities' rich history. The museum recently developed three exhibits focused on the African American, homeless, and mental illness communities. Featuring traveling, pop-up, and static displays in and around Appleton, the exhibits created new ways for citizens to engage with the past and plan for a more positive future.
