Colorado College (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College)

Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College will pilot an engagement project resulting from relationships that staff developed with community leaders, groups, and organizations in underserved neighborhoods during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project will foster greater representation and inclusion across the center’s programming by creating opportunities for traditionally underrepresented communities to partner with the Center by removing the access barriers of transportation and admission costs. Specifically, the project will engage the Latinx community of Southeast Colorado Springs through reciprocal, collaborative programming that leverages the knowledge and reach of community leaders and builds genuine connection with community members.
