Milwaukee County Historical Society

The Milwaukee County Historical Society will create a digitization plan and digital collection policy for its archival collection to support stewardship and increase public access to the collection. Museum staff will work with an external digital archives consultant to assess the society’s collection and determine digitization priorities. Funds will also be used to offer professional development opportunities for the museum’s archival staff, helping to build their capacity for future digitization activities. The final digitization plan will be tailored to the society’s needs and strategic goals and will benefit researchers and individuals who use the museum’s archives.
