Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture

The Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture will pilot a paid arts apprenticeship initiative for marginalized young adults in the local Baltimore community. Participants will learn art handling and installation, curatorial, educational, communication, and professional skills to prepare for future employment in the cultural sector. Encouraging growth through exposure to new experiences and collaboration, The Peale’s Accomplished Arts Apprenticeship program will help emerging professionals move confidently into the next phase of their careers. Informed by a scaled test of the program, this program will serve as a model for future programs and innovative use of the museum’s space.
