Kodiak History Museum

The Kodiak History Museum will implement a photo documentation project in preparation for a planned move of its collections to a new storage location in the next five years. The museum’s collections manager will direct the project and train two collections assistants, who will photograph objects, edit the photographs, and perform collections database entry to track the condition and location of objects currently housed in the museum’s historic building. The project will document object conditions for over 2,300 items in the collection, and the museum will make most of the images freely available by enhancing its online publicly accessible database.
