Santa Cruz Children's Museum of Discovery

The Santa Cruz Children’s Museum of Discovery will increase organizational capacity by launching an institutional planning and policy development project. A strategic planning consultant will lead the process with oversight from a planning committee. They will also use input gathered from the community, staff members, and museum visitors through surveys to inform the planning documents. The project will result in a revised strategic plan, updated mission and vision statements, and a newly designated board leadership position that will champion the strategic plan moving forward. The project will benefit both staff and visitors to the museum through the adoption and implementation of well-defined goals for programming and exhibits.
